This promotional brochure for Zipcar was designed at the time when the company was first branching out in Chicago. This 3 panel brochure took existing marketing copy and imagery from the company website, and tailored the messaging towards residents in the Chicagoland area. The goal was to explain the benefits of the car sharing platform, and encourage readers to learn more about the service. This piece was part of a personal initiative that looked at influential existing brands that I believed could be improved upon, and to make marketing materials that centered on specific targeted messaging. This particular design came about after conversations with friends in my neighborhood showed that at the time, there was little understanding on what Zipcar was, and why certain parking spots in local parking lots were being reserved for their cars.
The design tries to find new ways to present the material and expand upon the pre-existing brand to do something new.
